How do I unlock / jailbreak a new 3G iPhone with firmware 11.05.2007?

How do I unlock or jailbreak iPhone 3G just bougheted, Firmware 3.1 05/11/2007 baseband? This firmware was installed at the factory and when I opened the box i hope that i can jailbreak and unlock. or I'd better get rid of it …?? Because I heard some giniouses there is no way to unlock it. I not a concert, but I think there shoulb be a way to do it. (There is always a way to do this)
