Does the AppleCare Protection Plan cover…?

Okay, so I dropped my iPhone 3G in a cup of green tea (I know, I’m stupid.) and I asked a question on Yahoo to see if I could fix it, and I guess I can’t. So, I was wondering if the Apple Care Protection Plan (which I have) covers water damage (well actually, green tea damage.) If anyone can answer this It would be awesome!

It does not unfortunately. I used to work for Apple, therefore I know this by heart. The AppleCare Protection Plan does not cover Accidental, Physical, or Liquid Damage. I’m sorry . Hope this helps you.
It will only cover Manufacturer’s Issues … For example, if it starts freezing, or won’t turn on, or etcetera …
