Blackberry Storm Review: First Full Touchscreen Phone Blackberry
It may seem like the iPhone may have on the rapidly touchscreen smartphone cornered. There are not many phones to choose from this family. It takes a very innovative company to release a rival full touchscreen smartphone. Blackberry gives consumers such a rival. RIM Blackberry Storm is one of the latest additions to the line of text full touch screen. It is the first cell phone full touchscreen Blackberry. Blackberry entered the race with a comprehensive benefits and functionality, put in has brought with its impressive range of BlackBerry smartphone. With its impressive list of features and low price RIM's Blackberry Storm makes a great phone for anyone who is looking for an affordable alternative to the iPhone. But the storm also come with a list of minor problems that can hinder the enjoyment of a person's phone.
The BlackBerry Storm is quite similar to iPhone in its design and look. The differences are that the storm is shorter and heavier than the iPhone. There are also standard telephone controls located below the screen. The greatest achievement is the use of technology SurePress storms. This allows the user to perform functions actually clicking on the screen instead of just listening. Unfortunately clicking on the screen takes some getting used because honestly to clicking on the screen feels awkward. Also anyone with large hands or fingers may be difficult to type messages, because the keyboard is shown is quite small and the letters are crowded. The trackball navigator could get used to miss because it is absent on the RIM Blackberry Storm.
The RIM BlackBerry Storm offers the same features available on all previous BlackBerries. He continues to offer its users an amazing operating system updates and even there the previous installment. Like the previous Blackberry phones Storm is able to bond with your company Blackberry Enterprise Server allows you access to email and company files. The phone feels as if it was transported to be released just in time for the holidays because there are lots of bugs and minor problems. The accelerometer need more work. Switching the phone to and from landscape mode was fine, but websites took time to change the screen position. Controls Media are also affected by this measure. During rotation of the phone orders sometimes appeared to be blinking and even disappear from the screen at some point. Apart from the sites accelerometer General took a while to load and some applications have been weak at the launch.
Regarding the performance of the BlackBerry phone Storm does great. Callers can receive crystal clear calls. The voice the other end will hear very well. In addition, your voice will be clearer to the listener as well. The microphone is great at isolating and does not pick up noise background.
The RIM BlackBerry Storm could use more work. There were promises of firmware update that will fix many bugs found on this phone. Although updates to correct some problems they do not treat everyone. But for the price of the phone and amazing abilities, it is still a reasonable purchase. Just be sure to get the firmware upgrade if you decide to buy this phone.
