If I buy an iPhone in the United States and bring it to Europe, will it work with any operator in my country?
I recently read that in August 2010, you can buy an iPhone from any country (eg USA) bring it to Europe, and it will work with any operator without the release. Is it true? Because I am interested in buying a U.S.. Thank you! 
You read wrong. It is not possible. The phone must be unlocked to work with any which operator in the world. In the U.S., the iPhone is sold locked to AT & T, you have to sign a 2 year contract with to get the phone. Even after 2 years, it will remain locked. You will unlock the phone yourself, pay to cancel the AT & T plan & then you have an unlocked iPhone. However, in places like Europe, fortunately for you, the iPhone is sold unlocked from the factory.
