I thought I’d lost my mobile but I found it please help?
I thought I lost my iphone I looked every where, I rang up my provider and they blocked the ime and sent me a new sim, I them reported it to the insurance sent a access fee, anyway I was tidying up in the spare room and I found it, I am not sure what to do now, I don’t know whether an ime number can be unlocked, if it can’t be unlocked I’ll end up with no phone, as I don’t think you are covered for being dizzy, should I just leave it?
So once a ime number is blocked it can’t be unlocked??
All you have to do is to contact them and have them change the IMEI back to the one in your device. To get the IMEI press *#06# and it should display the IMEI on the screen, otherwise it is on the label in the back of the device under the battery. If they have not activated the new SIM card before they sent it to you your old SIM will still be working and you can just hold on to the new SIM in case you need it in the future. As far as the replacement device you need to contact the insurance company and tell them you no longer need the replacement and see if they can stop the shipment, if not then yolu just need to refuse the package when it comes and it will automatically be returned to them
