Can i get the iPhone 4 on tmobile?
I just saw the iphone 4 keynote video thingy on apple.com and fell in love. I know that the iPhone is exclusive to ATT but i heard that the contract stating that the iPhone is ATT is ending soon (sometime in 2010) and i know that in germany tmobile is the one with the iPhone. I am stuck on a 2year with tmobile just started a month ago and even if tmobile wouldn’t get the iphone 4 could i at least buy a real expensive unlocked version or even jailbreak it and hack it into working? I want this phone really freaking badly
Only way you could get an iPhone 4 on T-Mobile would be to buy it from AT&T (they offer a non-commitment option for $599 for a 16GB & $699 for a 32GB) & pay the early termination fee of $325 (after one month of service which I think costs $75).
Then by then the unlock should be released. Do that & you’re set. Oh & one other thing, the iPhone 4 uses microSIMs, so you’d have to cut your T-Mobile SIM to suit.
