once you jailbreak an iPhone, how do you make it work with other carriers?
I have a dear gen iphone 1 and I need to know how to do that. I already ZiPhone, a jailbreaking app, but it is not (at least not to my knowledge) to activate phone on another carrier (eg Verizon). Ok, I read the first 2 answers (they were no help, btw) and I would not have been clear: it is jailbroken and unlocked. I already know that it will work with other carriers, my question is how can I get it, for example, my Verizon plan? Should I bring it to them? Should I do it myself? What should I do?
when using ziphone unbricked must at this point, which means that you can put any SIM card other there. United States, you really only two options are AT & T or T-Mobile. You can not use the iPhone on any of the other major networks, they do not use SIM card. If you put up on a T-mobile account w / just a SIM card (AT & T Or for that matter) you just pop your SIM card and go.
