Help / w iPhone ringtones?

I have the iPhone 3G and iTunes 9. I am trying to create free ringtones. I am able to create AAC version, but it does not allow me to transfer the song into my ringtones folder! Any help?

I use Venton. It works with iPhone and there is no spam.
