HP Pavilion will not open network connections?

This is a dv6700 series entertainment. It worked fine ago days. We just moved and set up WiFi and cable today, we were unable to connect to a network to install our new router. When I click the network sharing center, is the small icon in the lower right corner or by going to the control panel and clicking on Network and Sharing Center, nothing will be put in place, but a blank window. My thread is on, it will not even open the window where it lists the available connections. Only a blank window. Please help, I have to pay for it and I can not even use it! Unfortunately, I did not a guarantee, and the HP online chat support is not supported on my iPhone, the only other source of internet I now. It Manager Windows Device Vista. The not open either, it says the program is not responding. I can not work with the Internet ethernet cable either.

You do not understand the operating system you use on this computer. I pretend it is Windows XP. Go to Control Panel Panel | System | Device Manager | Hardware. Verify that your NIC is not disabled (down arrow icon NIC). If there is a yellow question mark or a black exclamation point in a yellow triangle, something is wrong not and you need to reinstall the camera driver. You can also try connecting with an Ethernet cable, and solve the problem over wifi later.
